Notice of Proposed Action - 45-Day Public Comment Period- August 31, 2012 (PDF) (DOC)

The following state agencies have submitted proposed actions (code changes), which are intended for inclusion in the 2013 California Building Standards Code, Title 24, which is scheduled for publication in July 2013 with an effective date of January 2014.  All proposed actions are subject to a 45-day public comment period.  Comments are reviewed by the respective state agencies and ultimately, as necessary, by the Building Standards Commission prior to adoption.

All comments for the following state agency proposals must be submitted to the commission no later than close of business, October 15, 2012.
